What ‘Bad Reality TV’ Does Khloé Kardashian Watch on the Elliptical?
If you thought only civilians watched bad reality TV while dutifully jogging the elliptical to ward off untimely death, you thought wrong!
It turns out reality TV stars also watch reality TV at the gym, if Khloé Kardashian’s new interview with Shape is to be believed.
See, when Khloé and Lamar began their lengthy and still not totally done yet breakup, lots of people told Koko she should go to therapy, she said. But she was all “hell no.” Instead, she went to the gym.
“I had all these emotions that I didn’t know what to do with,” she said. “Some people suggested therapy, but instead I joined my local Equinox gym, where I’d get on an elliptical and watch bad reality TV. As a result, I started losing weight.”
Yes! Ignoring my feelings and getting hella skinny instead has helped me through many a breakup, personally. Khloé, you are literally the most relatable person ever.
Also relatable: Khloé likes to wear makeup to the gym:
“I also wear makeup when I work out. I put on a tinted moisturizer, mascara, and cherry lip balm, and fill in my eyebrows. If I feel cuter with a little lip color and mascara, why should anybody else care?”
Girl, you are preaching to the choir. Nothing sends me scurrying out of the gym quicker than the sight of my barely there eyelashes unadorned by mascara, naked and afraid.
But the question remains: what “bad reality TV” is Khloé watching? It can’t be “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” or any of its various spinoffs — that is good reality TV. Also good reality TV: the entire “Real Housewives” catalogue.
So that leaves… basically everything else. Maybe she’s watching “Dance Moms.” Maybe she’s really getting down and dirty with some TLC shows like “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and “Duck Dynasty,” which are the worst reality TV of all. Or maybe she’s more into a dark horse like “My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding.”
Whatever her preference is, clearly it’s paid off. Homegirl looks incredible. Thank god for therapy treadmills with TVs.
