A Famous Instagram Model Claims Her BF Used Her for Likes
It’s an understatement that breakups are hard, but they’re even harder when you have 8 million followers on Instagram.
Back in August, Instagram-famous couple Alexis Ren and Jay Alvarrez shocked their fans by breaking up, and now, six months later, she’s finally ready to admit why things really went sour between them.
He cared more about his brand than he cared about her, she claims.

Before Alexis and Jay broke up, they were so relationship goals they even did commercials for Hyundai.
But then they started doing crazy things like unfollowing each other on Twitter and Instagram and posting suggestive tweets like “I do not have time for things with no soul.”

What went wrong for the two tan, blonde models who were looking so tropically in love?
According to Alexis, it’s because Jay “used me for money & business off our relationship. True Love.”
She then went on to tweet, “ask away I’m not afraid to tell the truth anymore,” and from there, she rolled up her sleeves and put a fresh kettle of water on the stove so she could go all in on her ex.

She was the one who ended things.
