What’s one of your earliest memories of music — before you even thought it could be a career?
One of my earliest memories from when I first started making music was how my dad wasn’t very supportive of it at first. My mom, though, kept encouraging me. She told me, “Yes, go do it. If that’s what you want for your future and you’re going to give it your full effort, then go ahead. We’re going to support you. I’m going to support you. Just go for it.” That moment became one of my best memories from the beginning of my music journey.
But I have a funny one, one of my earliest memories of music was before I made it into my career. When I made my first $1000 in cash, I felt like I was the richest person on earth. I even slept with the freaking $1000 on my pillow, it was crazy. It was crazy, but that was like one of my earliest memories of when I first started playing music.
¿Cuál es uno de tus primeros recuerdos de la música, antes de que siquiera pensaras que podría ser una carrera?
Uno de mis primeros recuerdos de cuando empecé a hacer música fue que mi papá no me apoyaba mucho al principio. Mi mamá, sin embargo, me siguió animando. Me dijo: “Sí, hazlo. Si eso es lo que quieres para tu futuro y vas a darlo todo, entonces adelante. Te vamos a apoyar. Te voy a apoyar. Solo hazlo.” Ese momento se convirtió en uno de mis mejores recuerdos del inicio de mi viaje musical.
Pero tengo uno divertido, uno de mis primeros recuerdos de la música fue antes de que me dedicara a mi carrera. Cuando gané mis primeros $1000 en efectivo, me sentí como la persona más rica del mundo. Incluso dormí con los $1000 en mi almohada, fue una locura, pero ese fue uno de mis primeros recuerdos de cuando empecé a tocar música.
Growing up, what kind of kid were you — curious, restless, quiet, rebellious?
Growing up, I was a really calm, young kid when I was growing up. I wasn’t really out there. I wasn’t really causing trouble. I was just about me myself playing soccer learn how to play soccer you know I wasn’t really rebellious out there and I learned instruments.
Al crecer, ¿qué tipo de niño eras: curioso, inquieto, tranquilo, rebelde?
De niño, yo era un niño muy tranquilo. No me metía en líos. No causaba problemas. Simplemente me dedicaba a mí mismo, jugando al fútbol, aprendiendo a jugar al fútbol. No era rebelde y aprendí a tocar instrumentos.
When you think of home, what sounds or moments come to mind?
When I think of home, the moments that come to mind are simple ones—just knowing I’m back in town and able to go home and sleep in my own bed. It’s a great feeling. Being in town is always special because we get to do the things we always do: work, think about new ideas and future plans, go to the gym, and just enjoy the feeling of being home. It’s always a really great feeling.
More specifically sounds what I think about home is like when your mom’s cooking con la licuadora you know you smell like chile that’s how you know you’re a warm house yummy like that’s when you know you feel like you’re home when you when your mom’s cooking, TV is on your parents watching TV you know that’s that’s why you know like you’re home.
Cuando piensas en el hogar, ¿qué sonidos o momentos te vienen a la mente?
Cuando pienso en el hogar, los momentos que me vienen a la mente son simples: saber que estoy de vuelta en la ciudad y puedo ir a casa y dormir en mi propia cama. Es una gran sensación. Estar en la ciudad siempre es especial porque podemos hacer las cosas que siempre hacemos: trabajar, pensar en nuevas ideas y planes futuros, ir al gimnasio y simplemente disfrutar la sensación de estar en casa.
Más específicamente, los sonidos que me vienen a la mente cuando pienso en el hogar son como cuando tu mamá cocina con la licuadora: huele a chile, así sabes que es un hogar cálido y delicioso, así sabes que te sientes como en casa cuando tu mamá cocina. La televisión está encendida, tus padres viendo la televisión, ¿sabes? Por eso sabes que estás en casa.
Was there a moment when you realized, “Okay, this is no longer a job — this is my purpose”?
There was actually a moment where I realized that this music job no more you know it was in all the way in is when Fuerza Regida like recruited and hit me up and asked me if I was able and I was open to join in the band, that’s when I figured out that wow like this is gonna go crazy far. You know if I put in my hundred percent. can be somewhere and I can go I really want you know so that’s really noticed that this is not a job no more let’s focus let’s lock in and let’s go because this would be a lifestyle.
¿Hubo un momento en el que te diste cuenta, “Okay, esto ya no es un trabajo, este es mi propósito”?
Fue cuando Fuerza Regida me contactó y me preguntó si estaba disponible y si estaba abierto a unirme a la banda. Fue entonces cuando me di cuenta de que esto iba a llegar muy lejos. Si me esforzaba al cien por ciento, podría llegar a algún lugar y, sinceramente, me di cuenta de que esto ya no es un trabajo. Concentrémonos y hagámoslo porque esto sería un estilo de vida.
Learning the Tololoche in just three months sounds crazy — what kept you going during that process?
Love of music. The drive that I could make it big and I could inspire others.
Aprender el Tololoche en solo tres meses suena increíble, ¿qué te mantuvo adelante durante ese proceso?
Amor por la música. La motivación de que podría triunfar y que podría inspirar a otros.
You’ve said that creating music feels like solving a puzzle — what’s been your favorite piece you’ve ever solved?
Yeah, like I’ve said, creating music is like solving a puzzle. You have to put the pieces of the puzzle together to make a great piece of work. The favorite piece so far that I’ve created was “111xpantia”. It wasn’t just me. It was as a team. with many of the producer, JOP himself. It was something crazy to experience, to know that the is now one of the biggest albums in the world. So that was like one of my biggest music puzzles that was able to create. So far.
Has dicho que crear música se siente como resolver un rompecabezas, ¿cuál ha sido tu pieza favorita que hayas resuelto?
Sí, como he dicho, crear música es como resolver un rompecabezas. Tienes que juntar las piezas del rompecabezas para crear una gran obra. La pieza favorita que he creado hasta ahora fue “111Xpantia”. What was your role in shaping 111XPANTIA’s sound, and what did that experience teach you?
That Toroloche touch, that’s me. But really, you learn something new everyday, you are inspired by someone in the studio and you visualize the songs as if they were sang back to you onstage. That’s how the album was created- that’s were those anthems were made.
¿Cuál fue tu papel en la configuración del sonido de 111XPANTIA, y qué te enseñó esa experiencia?
Ese toque de Toroloche, ese soy yo. Pero en realidad, aprendes algo nuevo cada día, te inspiras en alguien en el estudio y visualizas las canciones como si se cantarán de vuelta a ti en el escenario. Así es como se creó el álbum, así es como se hicieron esos himnos.
You’ve become part of Fuerza Regida’s visual identity too — how do you see fashion playing into music today?
I see fashion playing into music today. like though we said they said your uniform is your image and your image will attract people to see you like catch attention, you know? So I say, if you’re into fashion, if you’re in the music, it’s going to be good for your image, because it’s going to attract new people to see who you are and it’s going to going to help you grow as an artist or whatever you are, you know? You dress good, good conversations.
También te has convertido en parte de la identidad visual de Fuerza Regida, ¿cómo ves la moda influyendo en la música hoy en día?
Como hemos dicho, tu uniforme es tu imagen y tu imagen atraerá a la gente para que te vea y capte la atención. Así que digo, si te gusta la moda, si te gusta la música, va a ser bueno para tu imagen, porque va a atraer a gente nueva para que vea quién eres y te va a ayudar a crecer como artista o lo que seas: vístete bien, buenas conversaciones.
What’s your go-to tour outfit that makes you feel like you?
My go to a tour outfit that makes me feel like me comfortable. is always some baggy sweats. Some pontunflas, little tank top, depends if it’s hot. Or oversized hoodie. And um a beanie, you know? That’s a to go fit for tour.
¿Cuál es tu atuendo favorito para la gira que te hace sentir tú mismo?
Siempre son unos pantalones anchos. Algunas pantuflas, una camiseta sin mangas, depende de si hace calor. O una sudadera con capucha extragrande, y un gorro. Ese es mi atuendo para la gira.
The jersey you gifted Justin Bieber went viral — what did that moment represent for you culturally?
The jersey I was able to give Justin Bieber was a very, very iconic crazy moment for me because like I said in the previous question, I grew up singing to his songs, you know? So it’s like, it was crazy for the people to see to be able to post that was able to give him a jersey, you know, Fuerza jersey. It was It was crazy.
La camiseta que le regalaste a Justin Bieber se hizo viral, ¿qué representó ese momento para ti culturalmente?
La camiseta que pude darle a Justin Bieber fue un momento muy, muy icónico y loco para mí porque, como dije en la pregunta anterior, crecí cantando sus canciones. Así que es una locura para la gente ver que pude publicar que pude darle una camiseta, ¿sabes?, una camiseta de Fuerza.
When you close your eyes and think about your future, what do you see — both as Moises the producer and Moises the person?
When I close my eyes and I think about my future as a producer and as a person, I see being big in the music and collaborating with big artists together as with my band Fare.
Cuando cierras los ojos y piensas en tu futuro, ¿qué ves, tanto como Moises el productor como Moises la persona?
Veo ser grande en la música y colaborar con grandes artistas junto con mi banda Fare.
If you could collaborate with any artist outside the Mexican genre, who would it be and why?
If I was to be able to collaborate with an artist outside of the Mexican genre, I think it would be pop, R&B. It would be Justin Bieber, just because I grew up listening to his music and actually like trying to sing his music too. And I, I actually met him too. It was something very crazy that I got to experience.
Si pudieras colaborar con cualquier artista fuera del género mexicano, ¿quién sería y por qué?
Si pudiera colaborar con un artista fuera del género mexicano, creo que sería pop, R&B. Sería Justin Bieber, simplemente porque crecí escuchando su música y de hecho intentando cantar su música también. Y de hecho, lo conocí también. Fue algo muy loco que pude experimentar.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from being part of Fuerza Regida’s journey?
Hard work pays off. Putting in the hours pays off. Never settling pays off.

For the young creatives out there — the ones shooting videos or learning instruments right now — what’s your message to them?
For the young creatives out there that are learning something, anything they’re doing that they want to conquer, a message I was telling them is, don’t don’t stop working, you know? It’s always always the best thing to whatever you could do at the moment, do it. Don’t let it don’t let it for tomorrow. So get your shit done and you’ll be successful.
Para los jóvenes creativos, los que graban videos o aprenden instrumentos ahora mismo, ¿cuál es tu mensaje para ellos?
Para los jóvenes creativos que están aprendiendo algo, lo que sea que estén haciendo que quieran conquistar, un mensaje que les digo es: no dejen de trabajar. Siempre es lo mejor que pueden hacer en el momento, háganlo. No lo dejen, no lo dejen para mañana. Así que hagan sus cosas y serán exitosos.
How do you personally stay grounded through fame, touring, and constant creation?
Personally, stay grounded through fame touring and constant creation a couple of things, do a bit of prayers. Do a bit of workouts, you know, clear the mind, be positive, always be positive. And a main key for me is always have patience. Don’t rush stuff. Because the right moments that it come to you.

Personalmente me mantengo con los pies en la tierra a través de la fama, las giras y la creación constante de varias maneras: rezo un poco, hago algo de ejercicio, aclaro la mente, soy positivo, siempre soy positivo. Y una clave principal para mí es siempre tener paciencia. No apresurar las cosas. Porque los momentos adecuados te llegarán.
