Miley Cyrus turned 24 on Wednesday, and to celebrate, her fiancé Liam Hemsworth bought her a cheap ring that looks like an artistically challenged five-year-old made it.
“Look at datttt Rainboooowwwwwwww rock!” Miley wrote on Instagram. “You always know how to make my ‘grubby little kid finger’s *SHINE*!!! ❤️ (P.S. please take notice of that beautiful packaging!!!! )”
While there’s many reasons why Liam could have bought Miley this ring, he probably did it to make up for the fact that she doesn’t like the engagement ring he bought her.
See, back in October, Miley let it slip to Ellen Degeneres that she kind of hates the ring because it’s just too nice for her happy hippie aesthetic.
“This is like real jewelry,” she explained, “and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy, and they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up, so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And [Liam’s] kind of like, ‘What’s going on?’ I am like, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.’”
