You guys, Justin Bieber has a problem, and the only prescription is no more selfies with fans.
On Tuesday afternoon, Justin Bieber posted a clearly well-thought out mini-essay on his Instagram explaining how constant selfie requests from fans makes him feel like a “zoo animal.”
After receiving what we’re confident was hundreds if not thousands of negative responses, Justin picked one at random and decided to respond to it.
The mad fan called Bieber “a prick” and “a douche” and advised him to “get over it” because it’s just a fact of life that celebrities don’t get to have normal lives.

It’s hard to say who’s in the right here, so we’re not even going to attempt to go there.
What is becoming clear is that Justin Bieber is slowly but surely withdrawing away from all IRL fan interactions.
Earlier this year he cancelled the rest of the meet-and-greets for his tour because they made him feel “mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression,” and his decision to stop taking selfies with fans kind of seems like the next logical step.
All Bieber wants to do now is focus on giving concerts, dropping albums and having really dope Instagram/Snapchat accounts, which to put things into perspective, is still more than the Beatles decided to give fans after they’d tired of dealing with Beatlemania in the 60s.
Basically what we’re trying to say is, frame those selfies you have with Justin now, because they’re about to be collectors’ items.
