Justin Bieber Says Meeting People Who Love Him Makes Him ‘Depressed’
Justin Bieber announced via Instagram account that he will no longer do meet and greets at his concerts, because they make him depressed.
“Love u guys.. I’m going to be canceling my meet and greets,” Justin wrote. “I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy.”
TMZ reports that the changes in the concert schedule are actually in response to a few security scares goes down at Bieber shows. This Monday, an obsessed fan came within 10 feet of the 22-year-old singer, a close call, after a few similar episodes with the same girl at different shows.
These types of interactions have been accumulating for Bieber.
“We’re told this was the last straw in an increasing problem Bieber’s team has had in managing the number of people who wanted special access to the singer before and after the concert. Up to now, around 20 people purchased 1-on-1 packages, and up to 200 others paid to meet Justin in groups,” TMZ wrote. “He’s had his hair pulled, clothes ripped and one fan even gave him the flu. We’re told Justin never complained, but Monday night’s scare was a wake up call for security.”
Whether it’s due to depression or safety reasons, there will be no more personal Justin moments (which were priced at $900 to $2,000). This all sounds really stressful and all, but it kind of reminds us when Kim K. lost her earring in the ocean and Kourtney had to set her straight.
