Meet Yaris Sanchez: Young Mother and Creative Dynamo
We are proud to present the first episode of “Girlcult” – a new candid interview series with women we find inspiring, directed by our favorite feminist singer/songwriter Zolita. With Mother’s Day around the corner, what better way to launch than with the incredible Yaris Sanchez AKA Dalai Mama? A former video-vixen, Yaris traded her old world and space in front of the camera for a more in-control, hands on position in the art and film scene — most recently creative directing a shoot for Dazed, and currently creative directing a documentary about the neighborhood she grew up in. Yaris is truly the embodiment of someone who has defied all expectations. She is a multifaceted, complex, bossy female and we couldn’t be more in awe!
