Here’s why Margot Robbie rubs a toothbrush on her hairline

It’s no secret that Margot Robbie is as gorgeous as superhumanly beautiful Australian actresses come. And if you didn’t know that, can you point me in the direction of the rock from whence you came? Because I’d love a vacation.

Anyway, while some of Margot’s beauty can be chalked up to genes and expensive beauty products she gets gifted just for being her, Margot’s got one beauty trick up her sleeve that even those of us who live on the struggle bus can pull off.

All you need is a fresh toothbrush.

Foundation can be notoriously difficult to apply.

If your skin is too dry or you don’t blend it properly, it’ll look cakey and gross. Wich is fine if you want to look like you’re wearing a pound of makeup on your face, but if you’re trying to look like an easy, breezy, beautiful CoverGirl, it’s kind of a problem.

Surprisingly, this is something Margot Robbie struggles with.

In an interview with Elle UK, she pointed out that as a blonde with tan skin – don’t you feel bad for her already – if she doesn’t pay extra attention to blending her foundation around her hairline, it just looks “gross.”

But luckily one of her friends taught her this magical trick which Margot uses “every day.”

“When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends,” Margot explained. “I do that every single day, and every time my husband is like, ‘What are you doing?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m brushing my makeup into my hairline!’ And he’s like, ‘Girls are crazy.’”

But you know what?

Seeming crazy high maintenance when it comes to beauty is a small price to pay to be genuinely beautiful.

To paraphrase the late great Willaim Shakespeare, though we be extra, we be hot.

Can I get an amen?
