The Weeknd got Selena Gomez a Chanel bag and she can’t stop wearing it
We don’t get a lot of deets about The Weeknd and Selena Gomez’s relationship, but a new interview with Sele proves she gets just as giddy over gifts from bae as the rest of us.
Selena FaceTimed with Imran Amed of Business of Fashion to talk about social media, fame and her burgeoning fashion career.

At one point, Imran asked Sele if it’s true that millennials prefer experiences over luxury items. Selena seemed surprised, mentioned that she’s mostly buying stuff for her new house right now. Then, she brought up the recent gift from Abel:
My boyfriend just got me a beautiful Chanel bag, and [I love it.] It wasn’t because it was a Chanel bag, it’s because of where it came from and what it meant. So I wear it so proudly, and I feel cute when I have it on. I feel like, “I love this!” it makes me so happy. It literally just happened so all my friends are laughing because every time I have it on, I feel a certain way. And that to me is an experience. I see both sides, because I get to work and do different things. My job requires me to travel but I’ve been to a lot of places and I’ve seen nothing, so there’s that too.
Okay, this is so freaking cute. It’s like when your bestie has a new BF or GF, and she can’t stop bringing them up in conversations that have nothing to do with them.
It’s also always mega-cute when someone buys you a Chanel bag, but that’s neither here nor there.
