I took a weed bath to relieve pain and I’m never taking a regular bath again
I was in a really serious car accident back in November. A car hit me while I was a pedestrian, and my whole body got messed up. Your girl was posted up in the ICU with a neck brace for 5 days kind of messed up.
Although it seems like I should be recovered by now, I’m not. I have a fake tooth that hurts like crazy, I’m still limping on my right ankle, and most of all, I have unbearable back pain. It hurts to sleep, walk, and sit, so I’m never not hurting. I walked 2 miles on the treadmill last Friday and still feel tightness throughout my back (smh).
I’ve tried the chiropractor, physical therapy, light exercise, and more. At some point, you kind of decide you’ll try anything in order to feel better. When I told friends about my predicament, I have several of them recommend CBD oil products.

I’m no newbie when it comes to weed, but I had yet to try any topical marijuana products until last night. I had finally had enough of the pain and went to my dispensary down the block, the Los Angeles Patients & Caregivers Group. The budtenders are super friendly and really want to help you find exactly what you need.
I actually went there in search of Whoopi & Maya, Whoopi Goldberg’s recent marijuana venture. The brand has a bath soak that I read about and was in search of. Unfortunately, the dispensary closest to me didn’t carry it.
I spoke to Ava, one of the budtenders, and told her I was looking for a soak, and she showed me Papa & Barkley’s Releaf Soak. She told me that she uses it for pain, and that it’s basically the best thing she ever did for herself. The packaging is sleek and discreet, and I was super excited to take it home.
First things first, this soak doesn’t have straight up weed in it. The product contains sea salts imported from Israel and is infused with the brands 3:1 THC: CBD oil. The Dead Sea salts mixed with over 200 mg of cannabinoid oil content give a full-body relaxing effect. It has the right amount of the cannabinoid-rich tincture for a pre-bedtime bath.

My main concern was that the mixture was going to make its way into my vagina somehow and give me an infection. I did some research and realized that wasn’t going to be the case. My second issue is that for some reason, I really hate that weird body-high feeling when you smoke certain strains. It gives me bad anxiety. I was worried that I was going to bug out post-bath, which is the opposite of what a bath should do.
But tbh, I was willing to try anything.
First thing I noticed when I opened it was the smell. It smells like eucalyptus, and nothing like marijuana. It’s light green, and it isn’t greasy. It feels just like regular bath salts. The packaging says to dump the whole thing in there, but I was kind of weary, so I did about half.
After about 10 minutes I finally felt some light tingling, and I figured I should just use more. I dumped the rest of the product in the bath, laid back and relaxed.
I am so glad I did.
It’s not scary at all! I had so many fears and doubts about this stuff but it just feels like taking a minty bath. Think of a mint LUSH bath bomb and it’s basically the same thing, but with weed.

Most importantly, it made a lot of things in my life much better. I was able to sleep like a baby, which hasn’t happened in months. I knocked tf out without the usual tossing around from the pain. As for today, I still feel the effects of the soak. I was expecting the relief to wear off, but I’ve been at my desk all day with few back issues. I am hoping that once I make weed baths a part of my routine, my back pain will fade after each luxurious soak.
If you have any body pain at all, including menstrual cramps, I would seriously recommend trying out a weed bath. Take your vape and some wine in the tub and get relaxed af. No sweat.
