Valentina Ferrer is busier than ever! The Mother/Model/CEO spent her summer traveling the world and promoting her brand KAPOWDER — her health and wellness company that features a variety of dietary vegan supplements to support gut health, immunity, hair, and skin. She co-founded the brand in 2021 and has since launched the products at retailers, including Erewhon Market and Revolve. “I’ve always dreamed of having a global company and the feeling that I’m doing it makes me so happy” says Valentina on the importance of reaching her customers all around the world. We chat with Valentina on wellness, beauty, and of course love. Read our full Interview below.

What’s your favorite beauty trend on TikTok?
My favorite TikTok trend at the moment would be the strawberry glowy makeup and another one would be the dry brushing and coconut scrub.
What are your beauty rituals?
Beauty rituals I live by are definitely ice rolling every morning and having my KAPOWDER® Vitality either during the day or at night. I also try to always apply a face mask after a shower, ideally a hydrating one.
Tell us more about KAPOWDER® and how wellness and mental health are at the forefront of your life.
KAPOWDER® was born from the idea of implementing it into to your lifestyle without changing your daily routine, a product for you to enjoy and not feel like it’s a strict diet or a regimen to follow. I always say when you are fueled with the right nutrients for your body you feel great on the outside as well, both go hand in hand with your mental health.
Being in a relationship with a famous musician, how do you handle the criticism and backlash?
The only way I can put this is nobody knows your reality and you can’t let others’ comments affect you in such a way. I know sometimes it’s easier said than done but nobody really knows what is going on and you can’t let assumptions from the outside world affect you.
Your style is iconic at every fashion week! What has been your favorite look so far?
My favorite look… there are so many, I just love attending the men’s fashion shows and really showing off my tomboy side, oversized everything!
Medellín or NYC: which do you prefer?
I love both for different reasons. NYC because of the energy and craziness of the people always on the go and Medellin because I get to connect with nature and it’s also very peaceful.
Being a mom, what is one thing you want to instill in your child?
Something I really instill in Rio is to always be free and to let his personality shine but to know his limits. My mom always told me to be free and do as you please but always know your limits.
What drugstore beauty item is your favorite?
My drugstore item has to be the brow glue by NYX this is a holy grail!
How is your rebellious spirit disrupting the culture?
Love the word rebellious! I would say just by being your authentic self and shining bright.
Hailing from Argentina, what is one piece of beauty advice or secret that you feel only Argentinians know?
MATE! It’s an Argentinian drink I take everywhere with me.
What is your skincare routine and what items should we all have in our beauty kit?
My skincare routine varies depending on the day. I usually do face wash, toner, and face mask (ideally a hydrating one). Then, I do eye creams, serums, moisturizers, and SPF. A must-have is a good SPF at all times and a good hydrating mist.
What item from KAPOWDER® do you recommend for someone just discovering the brand?
Definitely, our ENLIGHTEN it’s powered by hyaluronic acid which is amazing to stay hydrated ideally when you travel or after a good workout. Another one would be our ENHANCE which is our vegan collagen – mix it with coconut water or soda water and enjoy!
Lip gloss or lipstick?
Lip gloss for sure!
What beauty brand do you swear by?
My current favorites are Fenty, the SK-II face mask, Mario Badescu facial spray, Chanel foundation, and Sunday Riley CEO glow.
What TV show are you currently binge-watching?
So sad Succession is finished! I love the Vikings right now, but I can’t watch them in the States, unfortunately, waiting to travel again to download them all.
What book are you reading on summer travels?
A book I love to go back to and re-read is The Four Agreements.
What advice would you give 16-year-old Valentina?
To 16-year-old me, keep being crazy and dream big. My grandma always used to tell my mom that I was different and such a free spirit, not sure what she meant by different but hey it works.
What are your plans for the future of your brand?
Amazing things are happening! Exciting collaborations and we’re working on a new category that everybody will love.
What is next for you?
In the near future, keep growing my business which I’m extremely happy about and my modeling career which I’m also looking forward to.
What does the word rebel mean to you?
Rebel to me is a fun word – enjoy life, be a little sexy, and be a free spirit.
What are your top 3 beauty tricks/hacks?
I use my blush as an eyeshadow for a natural glowy look, put any leftover serum all over my neck and hands, and always put SPF on my hands as well!
