UNheardof’s Adidas Originals Piggyrunner Returns in 2026 with Four New Colorways
UNheardof’s adistar Piggyrunner returns in 2026 with four new colorways, continuing Phil Lipschutz’s (CEO & Founder UNheardof) of evolving adidas partnership following the viral success of “Grandma’s Couch.” Rooted in personal storytelling, community impact, and cultural authorship, Phil has built one of the most respected narratives in sneaker culture – consistently reinvesting in his local community and creating space for underrepresented voices. Building on the distinct design language of “Grandma’s Couch,” the new Piggyrunner lineup leans into bold, expressive colorways inspired by late-aughts nostalgia and today’s experimental, individuality-driven fashion.
Founded by Phil Lipschutz, UNheardof is a streetwear boutique that creates thoughtfully curated sneakers and collaborations that incorporate community and personal storytelling. Beyond retail, the brand serves as a creative hub by supporting regional artists, hosting events, and amplifying underrepresented voices in sneaker and fashion culture.

FEATURE INTERVIEW:
For anyone who’s never heard of your brand “UNheardof”, how would you define the brand?
It’s a mixture of skateboarding, Graffiti, street culture and of course that Cincinnati pride. Really all of the things I’ve experienced in my childhood from the way I grew up.
Take us back to when you first started to create UNheardof and reflect on what you wanted to portray to the world.
At the time, I was coming to terms with the fact that I wasn’t going to be a professional skateboarder. The kids I grew up with were into the same things as me and when I started working in my friends mom and pop skateboard shop, I learned the ins and outs of the business while figuring out what I wanted to do with my own brand. What I really love about skateboarding is the shoes. You can do just about any type of lifestyle shoe, from running to basketball, there’s really no rules to it. So when the pivot from skateboarder to business man came about, I already had that foundation set to just go for it.
What’s a lesson you took from running the skateboard shop into UNheardof?
My mentor Fat Nick really taught me how to design and pay attention to detail. On top of that, he polished me by taking the time to educate and guide me along the way. Many people don’t get that so being able to do the same 25 years in has been a blessing in itself.
Let’s talk about your new shoe collaboration with Adidas Original. How did this come about?
I really wanted to continue with storytelling through our shoes. The past chapters with Adidas were not only impactful but very meaningful but for the shoe collectors I know they needed something new. I like to have fun with it, especially all the loss I’ve experienced throughout my life. So in everything that I do through UNheardof, I want to motivate, excite and always show love to skateboard culture and Cincinnati. So this new collaboration is to shed light on my childhood friends and all we’ve accomplished.
