Tim Gunn Tries to Get Attention by Calling Emily Ratajkowski ‘Vulgar’

Tim Gunn is hosting Fashion Police at New York Fashion Week and he’s being an idiot… at least to Emily Ratajkowski.

The “fashion critic” decided to state his godforsaken opinion about Emily’s low-cut Julien Macdonald gown by calling it “vulgar” and “repugnant.”

“If I saw this at a party, all I could do would be to drink. I couldn’t eat. There’s absolutely no way,” he said to co-hosts NeNe Leakes, Brad Goreski, Melissa Rivers, and Giuliana Rancic. “This dress is so appallingly vulgar and revealing. Why wear anything? Why not just take it all off?”

Okay, hold up Tim Gunn.

Everyone knows Emily is all about feminism — she continually expresses how awful it feels when men critique her body. In fact, the model/actress has even joined Kim Kardashian West to post a topless selfie in defense of Kim’s naked Instagram post and also written an essay for Glamour about her own experience with men’s reactions to her body.

Tim Gunn knew what he was doing — he was just being a little attention whore. Emily can see right through him though. And she isn’t having it.

Emily has taken to Twitter to respond to Tim’s blasphemous comments:

“When I wrote my Glamour article, I was just thinking of men who call women attention seeking for being sexy. I wasn’t even thinking of the hosts of nationally televised shows who call women vulgar because they can see their stomachs. Western men in 2016: Want to ban women abroad from voluntarily covering themselves at the beach . . . then want women to cover up their ‘vulgar’ bodies at home.” She added: “It’s 2016. Why keep trying to dictate what women can wear?”

Yeah, just why? And just stop. Let women be proud of their bodies… because we should be. If we want to wear a revealing dress, we will! Men can’t control our outfits, especially not Tim Gunn in his boring Wall Street-inspired suit.
