VICTORIA’S SECRET BROUGHT BACK THE FANTASY BRA. OH, WE’RE DOING THIS AGAIN???

The Angels returned to Los Angeles with familiar faces, new wings, a very expensive bra and enough nostalgia to make me reconsider my entire Sunday evening.

I have some news.

Victoria’s Secret has apparently decided we’re bringing back the Fantasy Bra.

And Kylie Jenner wore it.

Sorry.

WHAT?

The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles on Sunday, October 18, and somebody clearly understood that if we’re going to bring back the Angels, we might as well bring back the entire production.

The wings. The hair. The glitter. The women walking like they have absolutely nowhere else to be.

Wonderful.

I’ve missed this level of unnecessary.

FIRST OF ALL, WHERE HAS EVERYBODY BEEN???

Suddenly I’m remembering a time when watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was practically a holiday tradition.

The original Angels were back, alongside Bella and Gigi Hadid, Anok Yai, Alex Consani, Paloma Elsesser and a whole new generation of faces.

And honestly? I like seeing the old and new together.

There’s something comforting about recognizing a model before the internet tells you why you should recognize her.

Not everything needs a reintroduction.

Some people simply have the walk.

KYLIE JENNER. IN THE FANTASY BRA. OKAY.

Of course, the evening had a surprise.

Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut wearing the returning Fantasy Bra, while Timothée Chalamet and Kris Jenner watched from the audience.

Which is a very interesting way to spend a Sunday.

I was at home.

But congratulations to everybody involved.

The Fantasy Bra hadn’t appeared in the show for eight years, so bringing it back felt like a deliberate reminder of just how ridiculous Victoria’s Secret used to be.

And I mean ridiculous affectionately.

It’s lingerie covered in diamonds.

We’re not discussing practicality.

AND THE PERFORMERS HAD THINGS TO DO.

Tate McRae performed in red lingerie, KATSEYE brought the pop-girl energy, Megan Moroney opened the musical performances, and Megan Thee Stallion closed the evening.

A very busy night for the music department.

But that’s what makes this show different from an ordinary runway presentation.

It’s fashion, music, beauty and a little bit of theater.

Sometimes the wings are bigger than the person wearing them.

Sometimes that’s the point.

SO, ARE WE BACK???

I think what makes the Victoria’s Secret show interesting now is that it can’t simply return to what it was.

Fashion has changed. The audience has changed. And the idea of who gets to be an Angel has had to change with it.

The newer cast brings different faces and body types into a spectacle that was once much more narrowly defined.

There’s still room to ask how far that evolution goes.

But I don’t think we need to pretend the nostalgia isn’t fun, either.

I wanted the big hair.

I wanted the wings.

I wanted to recognize a supermodel from approximately 2007 and immediately remember why I was obsessed with her.

And I got all three.

Sometimes fashion doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Sometimes it just needs to put wings on it.

Anyway.

I have no plans to wear a diamond-covered bra.

But I support the arts.

TTYL.
