Jesse Jo Stark – “i’m yours”
Stark has been hailed time and time again as a rock and roll “Femme Fatale”, and she certainly embodies and embraces it completely, however, this year she has shown us she’s got quite a lot of range as a songwriter and performer by stepping away for a bit from her The-Cramps-Meets-Noir-Chanteuse vibes and into more diverse pop functions. Today, to commemorate all things creepy, campy, and macabre, Jesse took the time to release “i’m yours” a synth-laden pop banger that nonetheless holds the dark, rockabilly DNA at its core.

The song explores themes of longing and insecurity in a tumultuous relationship. There’s a struggle between passion and emotional turmoil, highlighted by a sense of urgency for commitment and recognition in their connection.
Hana Giraldo – Reputation
Sultry and borderline noir, Hana Giraldo’s new track could very well shake hands with Jesse Jo’s and form a one-two combo for your ears. Daughter of Neil Giraldo and Pat Benatar, Hana has stardom and talent running through her veins and she Will. Not. be. denied!

“Reputation” is Hana’s second release, following up on “Broke My Heart”, and it’s a powerful manifesto of self-empowerment, navigating the intricate landscapes of identity, fame, and sexuality. With an atmospheric blend of haunting vocals and vibrant verses, the song captures the raw tension of being at odds with other’s perceptions and your own self-perception.
Riley Roth – Give Me Away
Riley wrote “Give Me Away” as a heartfelt surprise for her father, intending it for their wedding dance, inspired by the love and support he has given her throughout her life.

With over 27 million streams and two tracks surpassing 8 million each, Roth has proven her ability to resonate as an honest, down-to-earth songwriter who can share heartfelt songs that feel like a breath of fresh air amidst so much cynicism.
Jazzie Young – Lux
Based in Los Angeles, Jazzie Young is gearing up to release an LP this coming 2025, featuring ten tracks that delve into the complexities of growth, love, and the ever-evolving nature of life. But before that happens, she’s preparing us with the release of “lux” a track Intimately inspired by Sofia Coppola’s ‘The Virgin Suicides’ particularly Kirsten Dunst’s character Lux Lisbon.

The sultry yet melancholic indie pop sound incorporates strong folk elements that temper some of the colder sounds with an earthen quality. If you’re at all into Lana Del Rey, I think you’ll love the tangentiality here.
Liv Slingerland – C’mon C’mon
Liv Slingerland is simply put: Awesome. She’s been building up a rock-solid reputation for herself in the industry as a producer and as a guitarist for huge names like Olivia Rodrigo, Halsey, Gracie Abrams, and -recently- Post Malone.
Listen to “”C’mon C’mon” HERE
Liv’s nascent solo career has a lot more to build on than her impressive resume, indeed she’s a brilliant composer building a rock-tinged alt-pop sound, with her newest song ‘C’mon C’mon’ showcasing her songwriting abilities, as she explores the struggle to find light amid the darkness, acknowledging emotional barriers while yearning to break them down in an trying act of emotional responsibility.
Grace Kay – Actress
Grace Kay is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who could very well wear the title of “Electro Pop Luminary” and light things up is exactly what she does with “Actress” and its enthralling beat.
Listen to “Actress” HERE
The song is largely about the put-ons we sometimes use when presenting ourselves to someone we’re romantically interested in. The chorus captures this internal conflict, as she reflects on feeling trapped in a performance, where her true self becomes overshadowed by the need to please or not “fumble” it.
Noble Lyfe – Who Brought A Gun To The Disco
Who indeed? The Brooklyn son Noble Lyfe must have, and he’s making quite a Ruckus. Do yourself a favor and pour over his entire musical catalog and tell me if you’ve heard anything quite like it before. Yeah, there’s rap, yeah there’s techno and dance and funk and a myriad other influences too, converging in the most enjoyably unorthodox ways possible.

Olya Sonica – Let Me In
Olya Sonica‘s inspiring journey began in Moscow, leading her to New York and then Los Angeles, where she faced the language barrier while building up the dream of becoming a bonafide rockstar in what are frankly two of the most complex cities in the world. With her debut album, *Alchemy*, she showcased her talent and dedication, paving the way for her latest release, “Let Me In,” which comes as a heart-melting throwback power ballad (the kind that just isn’t made enough of these days!) about asking to be let into a special someone’s heart.

HIDDEN FORTRESS – Electric Skeleton
Most likely named after the famous Kurosawa film, HIDDEN FORTRESS folds Post-R&B Psych Pop with different electronica elements unto itself to produce some truly mind-blowing rebellious music that no single genre can hold.
Listen to “Electric Skeleton” HERE
Their latest release “Electric Skeleton” was “born out of a deep love for funky synth bass, the Yamaha DX7, and an urgent desire to dance”, and it’s thematically all about pondering the mysteries of the cosmos and the reason for our existence in what can at times feel like both an absurd and incomprehensible world.
