Terror Jr, the Band That Might Be Kylie Jenner, Just Dropped a New Single
Have you heard of Terror Jr yet?
If you’ve seen Kylie Jenner’s lip gloss video, you definitely have. They released their first single, “Three Strikes,” as the background music of the vid. If you use Spotify, you’ve probably heard their second single, “Sugar,” which made Spotify’s viral list.
Their music is infectious, vibey, and full of AutoTune — and it might just feature Kylie’s own voice.
See, Terror Jr didn’t exist — not on the internet at least, which is all that matters for our purposes — until the lip gloss video came out. And the only person Terror Jr follows on Twitter and Instagram is Kylie Jenner. And no one has ever seen the lead singer’s face.
The lead singer is reported to be someone named Lisa and the producers are reported to be Felix Snow and David aka Campa, according to V and the Fader. Lisa’s Instagram account only shows a mystery girl in silhouette, while Terror Jr’s Instagram just shows album artwork.
The voice in the music Terror Jr has released is so heavily AutoTuned it could theoretically be anyone, from an unknown to Kylie to Kim to Taylor Swift. And that’s not a knock on Terror Jr or the lead singer, by the way — the one thing we’re sure about when it comes to this band is that their music is awesome.
Of course, fans are going nuts looking for illuminati-like clues as to the singer’s identity. Some are saying this tweet is a hint that Kylie’s in Terror Jr because it was sent out about 10 days before Tyga and Kylie’s breakup was announced, which tbh seems like kind of a stretch. People talk about breakups on Twitter all the time.

We asked Terror Jr via email if they do indeed count Kylie as a member, and they responded succinctly, “We do appreciate the mystery thus far :)” so the mystery continues. Kylie’s said in recent interviews that she’d like to fade into the background of future business ventures, so maybe that includes a secret career as a singer — or perhaps more likely, a secret career as a music manager for groups like Terror Jr. If that’s the case, she’s showing some pretty shrewd and impressive marketing prowess by keeping the mystery alive.
Kylie also used to hint at a possible singing career on Snapchat, but has since stopped. In fact, she hasn’t sung on Snapchat or mentioned anything about music publicly in a really long time. So maybe it’s all part of the ruse and she’ll be unveiled as the singer behind Terror Jr at the next big awards show?
