T Swift Made Tom Hiddleston Get Instagram & It’s Already Embarrassing
Two hours ago, Tom Hiddleston created an Instagram account.
His name is twhiddleston, he currently has 204,000 followers, and his first post is a selfie — and not the hot kind. Or the funny kind.
It’s just him, dressed up as that long-haired Thor villain he keeps playing in movies, where his face is contorted into a twisted half smile, one of his eyes is winking at you, and the other is staring straight into your soul and saying, “I know how much gluten you ate yesterday.”
It’s haunting, and not in a good way.
Seeing as Tom Hiddleston is basically an embarrassing 60-year-old dad trapped in the body of a technically sexy British man, we’re guessing Taylor is behind this sudden desire to hop on the social media train.
Despite the fact that Taylor will probably use her boyfriend’s new Instagram account as a staging ground for perfectly posed photos, designed to elicit an, “Aww #goals” from all the basic bitches out there, in her defense, making Tom get an Instagram is actually a really good girlfriend move.
If Tom Hiddleston wants to be James Bond, he needs to grow his fan base and work on his brand.
Of course, he also needs to work on rebranding himself as the kind of guy who would never post this kind of selfie in a million years, but hey, no celebrity gets it right on their first Instagram post either.
He’ll learn.
Maybe.
Or maybe he’ll keep posting selfies that will haunt our dreams.
