SZA wants her next two albums to be for Children
You read that right.
The Grammy-award-winning artist announced to her Twitter on January 4th. SZA plans to fulfill her recording contract by releasing two albums for Children. In SZA style, she writes to her Twitter account, “To fulfill my last 2 album requirements, I think I just wanna make peaceful children’s music n get outta here, Then go be a farmer n donate the produce to underserved communities.”
Commenters below the tweet referred to SZA’s history of simply “Talking that talk”; in the past, she’s been known to say one thing and do another. However, SZA has expressed her love for children and youth through an appearance on Sesame Street in 2017. I will say that the youth is the future, and if anything, I’d want them to have SZA be who they look up to, considering she’s owned mainstream airplay for the last four years or so. We will have to wait until then, let’s enjoy SZA’s new deluxe-album with 15 bonus tracks; stream LANA here.
