Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Are Fighting Over His New Gf Right Now
Once upon a time, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were chill exes who did chill things like post old pictures of themselves kissing on Instagram and like each others’ photos.
Now, they’re fighting over Justin Bieber’s rumored new girlfriend, Sofia Richie, in a savage and possibly petty WAR on Instagram.
It all started this weekend, when Justin posted 1 million pictures of him and Sofia Richie in a car, making a variety of sightly different faces at the camera.
As you can see, it was a little much.
His fans were not about it, and proceeded to get so nasty with him in the comments section that Justin was forced to caption his next Sofia Richie selfie with, “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate. This is getting out of hand. If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

Really, Justin?
Because that’s exactly how teen fans are.
They’re like, the extreme version of you protective, overbearing father. Unless you start dating somebody they already vetted and approved, they’re gonna HATE them and spend the next couple of days/weeks doing everything in their power to break you up, and seeing as they don’t actually have any power, that means they’re going to say lots and lots of hateful things in your comments section.
A matter of hours later, Selena Gomez got in on the action, commenting on Justin’s actual Insta, “If you can’t handle the hate than stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did.”
Honestly, this actually seems like good advice for Justin. A little reality check.
If it wasn’t for the fact that it was coming from an ex who posted it to Instagram instead of just texting him to not be an idiot about the way online fandoms work, everything would have been fine.
But she didn’t and it didn’t take long for Justin Bieber to respond back to her, in a series of increasingly petty Instagram comments.
Again, this is all going down in a comments section.
“It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad All love” and “I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and eachother. And yes I love my beliebers.”
Instead of responding back to him right away, Selena decided to take the high road and show Justin how much more grateful she was to her fans.
Subtext: I’m a better person than you, I hope you rot in fuckboy hell.

And then she decided to switch gears and take the low road, and accuse Justin of cheating on her, which seems like something a fuckboy of Justin’s caliber would do, but who knows.
“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
To which Justin allegedly replied, “I cheated…oh I forgot about You and Zayn.”
TBH, this kind of looks like it a copy/paste job to me, but who knows.
Maybe Selena did, maybe she didn’t, but either way, Selena capped off the fight so far by posting a picture of herself on the floor, which maybe means she’s done fighting, but could also mean that she’s FLOORED by Justin’s accusation.
Meanwhile, Justin posted this picture of a limo driver who kind of looks like a cop.

What do you think?
Is the fight over between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber?
Did Selena win?
Did Justin win?
Was she right to air out their dirty laundry on Instagram like that, or was it a petty move?
Is this the real reason why Selena didn’t go to Taylor’s 4th of July BBQ? Because things are awkward between her and Gigi?
Fingers crossed this battle of the exes keeps on going strong.
Ever since the Olympics started, there hasn’t been a whole lot of celebrity gossip to sink our teeth into, and I think I speak for everybody when I say I’m getting hungry for some drama that has nothing to do with sports.
Let there be (cyber) blood.
