We’re Ready to Pay Attention to Hailey Baldwin for Something Other Than Her Dating Life
Hailey Baldwin talked to Marie Claire about her relationship with the Biebz and told them that she’s ready to move on from it, and we have to say we are too.
The backstory: Hailey Baldwin went from Justin Bieber’s best friend to girlfriend this past winter, and holy shit — things got weird when Hailey admitted the couple was in an open relationship.
The romance is done… for now. “He’s about to go on tour,” Hailey told E! Online back in February. “Relationships at this age are already complicated.”
And while we’ve all been really confused about what that even means, Hailey has finally made a bit more sense of her dating situation with Mr. Bieber. Or at least what it felt like to be the girl Justin told magazines he “really love[d].”
“Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls…it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” she told Marie Claire. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”
As of today, Hailey and Justin remain friends.

Hailey also revealed the struggles of being in such a public relationship.
“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody,” she said. “I live a very public life and I have to keep things personal or else I have no personal life…I like to think my relationships are not between me, the person, and the whole entire world.”
