FEATURED INTERVIEW:

TELL US HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE PLAYING IN WNBA FOR 12+ YEARS

My experience in the WNBA for 12 years was a Blessing. While In college I set a goal for myself to play at least 10 years. By playing 12 years I exceeded the goal I had for myself. There were ups and downs because I wanted so much more for myself as a player, but as I matured I realized that each practice, each game, and each opportunity to play the game I love was a Blessing. Few get the opportunity to make a living doing what they love and I was able to do that in a big way. I felt like I could have played at least 15 years, but God had another plan for me.

GROWING UP WHAT BASKETBALL LEGEND MADE YOU WANT TO PICK UP THE BALL

Growing up watching my brother play basketball motivated and influenced me into being a basketball player myself. As a kid I admired basketball legends such as Teresa Weatherspoon and Michael Jordan

TELL US ABOUT YOUR COMING OUT STORY

I never had a coming out story, I’ve always been a private person. When it came to my relationships whether I was dating guys and eventually women my private life was just that private. Once I decided to do reality television, my life became public.

YOU HAVE HAD VERY PUBLIC RELATIONSHIPS HOW DID THAT EFFECT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

That is an interesting question and what I’ve realized is that my relationships being public did not effect my mental health. What did affect my mental health at times were the inaccurate assumptions and opinions that people had about my relationship.

TELL US ABOUT THE NBA COACHING PROGRAM

The NBA coaching program has been a tremendous experience and asset for me. Learning different tools like scouting, breaking down film, and getting real time coaching experience. The knowledge that I received and the lessons I’ve learned has helped me develop an even bigger passion for coaching.

DRAFT KINGS WHO YOU BETTING ON THIS YEAR IN NBA

If I were a betting woman I would say the Suns or the Lakers, but since they’re both out of the playoff race I am going with the Heat.

WHAT SONG REPRESENTS SUMMER 2023 TO YOU

Act Bad by Diddy, City Girls, and Fabolous.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON REALITY TV

My thoughts on Reality TV is that it is a gift and a curse, but more importantly it’s how you use it. Branding is such a big part of building careers nowadays so it’s necessary to use your platform to build your brand properly. The foundation of my brand is staying true to myself. In reality tv there is a lot of editing therefore if you are staying true to yourself, your morals ,and your beliefs, it is difficult to misrepresent the truth.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR YOU

What’s current for me is that I’m writing a book, modeling and coaching.
