Phase 2 Unlocked: Zoe Wees Is Louder, Bolder, and Unfiltered
With a voice that cuts deep and lyrics that refuse to shy away from vulnerability, Zoe Wees is entering a powerful new chapter. Her latest single, “Hello Again,” is a soul-baring reflection on a past marked by emotional and physical trauma—told with the kind of honesty that makes it impossible not to feel every word. It’s raw, it’s haunting, and it’s the kind of song that doesn’t just tell a story but starts a conversation.

Following up the fierce energy of “Traitor” earlier this year, Wees continues to step into her truth, unafraid to speak on her journey of growth and healing. These new releases showcase her evolution as both a writer and a person—someone learning to trust herself more deeply, to let go, and to prioritize her own peace. The German star has already left an indelible mark on the global pop landscape, and she’s just getting started.
Pulling back the curtain for Galore, Zoe Wees opens up about the pain that inspired “Hello Again,” the creative process behind its powerful music video, and the strength she’s found by finally breaking her silence.
“Hello Again” is such a raw and deeply personal song. What was the moment that made you feel ready to write and release this track?
It was the moment I realized I didn’t want to stay silent anymore. I had been in a very toxic relationship and went through domestic violence myself. I knew I wasn’t the only one, and that so many people are dealing with the same thing. That gave me the strength to speak up. I wanted to be a voice for women who feel unseen.
The lyrics of “Hello Again” are incredibly powerful and honest. How did it feel to put those emotions into words and music?
Honestly, it was the hardest and most emotional song I’ve ever written. It was painful to write, but it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
You’ve mentioned that this was an experience you hadn’t spoken about before. How did the creative process help you process and heal from it?
Music has always been my therapy, so speaking up in the studio was me taking a step closer to healing from that trauma.
The music video adds another layer of emotion to the track. Can you share the creative vision behind it and how it complements the song’s message?
With this video, we recreated scenes that were similar to what I went through in the relationship—the good and the bad. I didn’t want to make it look prettier than it was or hide anything. It was real, with both the struggles and the beautiful moments.
Many people may relate to the themes in “Hello Again.” What do you hope listeners take away from hearing your story?
I hope they know they’re not alone. I want people to feel seen and heard. If you’re going through something similar, please know that it’s okay to reach out for help. You only get this one life, and no one should be able to take it from you. You are so worthy, and you deserve to be loved and safe.
How has your experience writing “Hello Again” influenced the music you’re creating for your upcoming sophomore album?
Writing this song unlocked something in me. I’m not scared to go deeper now. I’ve grown so much, and I want this next album to show all the different sides of who I am—not just the pain, but also the strength, the joy, and the healing. It’s all part of the journey.
From “Traitor” to “Hello Again,” we see a shift in your sound and confidence. How would you describe this next phase of your artistry?
Over the past few years, I’ve really worked on myself, and I’m excited to share all of my other sides as well. I’ve become more comfortable and confident with who I am, and I want my music to reflect that as well.
Looking ahead to 2025, what excites you most about this new chapter in your career and personal growth?
I’m excited for what’s coming in 2025. I feel stronger and more myself, and I can’t wait to share this new chapter through my music.
