Although Paul spent years working in corporate sales, technology, and insurance, early last year, he took a dramatic leap into the music world, releasing his debut album, 110. The project enjoyed modest success on digital platforms and marked the beginning of Paul’s creative journey. Refusing to give up, Paul followed up in the spring with Counted, a mixtape featuring over 30 tracks that unleashed years of creativity stifled by the demands of adult life. Riding this creative wave, Paul dropped Lying, a 20-track project that was unexpectedly blocked from distribution due to what he described as “a mysterious copyright claim.”
Determined to persevere, Paul greeted 2025 with the release of Smashed Up, reaffirming his mission as an artist: to champion LGBTQ+ rights and spread a message of love and acceptance. The track calls for the end of labeling individuals, urging people to celebrate their uniqueness. Smashed Up opens with emotive piano chords, setting the stage for a bold critique of homophobia and a passionate call for ongoing progress in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
Now fully committed to his music career, Paul Robert is determined to spread his positive and uplifting message, working tirelessly from his new home base in Los Angeles. With each new release, he carves out a space for himself in the competitive music industry, striving to make the world a kinder, more inclusive place.
