Party Nails Returns with “Trigger Warning”: A Raw Electropop Anthem

With a clear nod to the ’80s electropop era, Party Nails introduces her latest single, Trigger Warning. This track, powered by lush synthesizers and the artist’s velvety vocals, showcases the multifaceted talents of Elana Carroll—Party Nails’ creative force. Written, recorded, produced, and mixed by Carroll herself, the song unfolds a poignant narrative of survival and healing from an abusive relationship, told intimately in the first person.

Trigger Warning captures Party Nails’ rebellious yet heartfelt artistry. The track fuses her signature blend of electropop and synth-wave with an emotionally raw storytelling approach. This balance of melodic pop and dark, reflective undertones has cemented her connection with a loyal and growing fan base.

Beyond its lyrical depth, Trigger Warning highlights Carroll’s versatility as a producer, elevating the indie music scene with her hands-on approach. Released under Eye Knee Records, the single is a testament to her ability to oversee every detail of the creative process—from conception to launch.

Party Nails’ shaped by personal experiences such as her family’s divorce and a later-diagnosed anxiety disorder, is deeply vulnerable and authentic. Starting with Garageband, Carroll honed her production skills.

Party Nails is set to embark on a Midwest and West Coast tour supporting Bad Bad Hats, kicking off January 4 at the Raccoon Motel in Davenport, Iowa, and continuing through venues in Kansas City, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more, before wrapping up in Omaha, Nebraska, on January 24. Stay tuned as Party Nails continues to push the boundaries of indie music with her emotionally rich, genre-defying sound.
