NYFW F/W 23 Recap – Colin LoCascio
Calling in the spring with Colin LoCascio’s new collection! I love the ways in which the colors compliment each other. This collection has a lot of pastels and looks that transport me to warm weather and picnics in the city. This collection is inspiring, with 3D flowers ornaments, women flower patches and fuzzy hats. This has been the cutest collection I’ve seen on the runway, evoking the inner child to cheer with the utmost joy.
What surprised me the most was when I saw Danielle Mareka walk out on the runway. A friend from NYU, we connected on our mutual love for image curation. In fact, we featured Dani on Galore when she was first starting to take her modeling career seriously. Our feature from March 2018 was titled, When Danielle Mareka isn’t modeling, she’s organizing for Planned Parenthood (click to read more). It’s beautiful to see how she continues to captivate audiences, designers and photographers with her genuine and gracious energy.
Here are some images taken by me to highlight some of those captivating, awe inspiring moments caught on the runway for Colin LoCascio.
