After months of wrestling with her feelings, Miley Cyrus has finally decided she’s ready to take the next step with Liam Hemsworth: she’s ready to post pictures of him on her Instagram again.
Praise the marijuana gods, they’re social media official.
On Sunday afternoon, Liam made his debut appearance on Miley’s Instagram, lounging on a couch, snuggling with the dog Miley helped him adopt back in November, and wearing a shirt for Miley’s Happy Hippie Foundation. So convenient when a gal can deflect a major announcement about her personal life by linking it to her 501(c)3 charitable foundation, right?
Basically, he looks like the poster boy for sweet, supportive boyfriends everywhere.
Boys, take note: this is how you win over a girl’s heart. Not with dick picks. Not with mirror selfies of your bulging muscles. And not with a text message at 3 a.m. that says, “u up?”
Girls, take note: it definitely looks like he’s using that dog to strategically cover his penis, as he is clearly not wearing pants.
If that’s not what love looks like, then I don’t wanna be in love anymore.
Although, then again, maybe he just owed her one after Miley got a jar of Vegemite tattooed on her arm.
Either way, it’s super cute and definitive proof that there’s a lot more in Miley and Liam’s future than just holding hands in public.
