We caught up with her to find out her opinion on the monokini, her biggest style icons, and her secret to taking the ultimate OOTD pic. See what she had to say, below.
What’s the sexiest piece of clothing you own?
The sexiest piece of clothing would be a custom harness that my friend made for me. I can just wear it on my naked body, on top of my lingerie, or on top of any dress.
What’s the secret to the best Instagram post? Or better yet, the secret to the best OOTD pic?
Good lighting is major! Oh, wait, I am sure everyone says that. I hate seeing contrived #ootd posts. Whatever you are doing should look natural. You should be having fun with it and be moving freely. The best posts are visually pleasing to the eye, dynamic, and never feel forced.
If you had to wear one outfit for the entire year of 2016, what would it be?
I suppose I would have to be smart about it if I had to choose one outfit to wear for an entire year! It would probably be a pair of boyfriend jeans that I could convert into shorts, a loose black shirt, a bathing suit underneath, a leather jacket, a snapback hat, and a pair of kicks.
What are your thoughts on the monokini?
I think monokinis are so sexy! I am surprised more people aren’t wearing that style! I also love rocking it with a pair of shorts and a kimono when I’m on my way to the beach.
Which city has the best shopping?
That’s a tough one. I love rad vintage finds and some of the best pieces I’ve found were in NYC, Paris, and LA. I am also currently obsessing over a few Australian brands. So, I suppose Sydney has some great shopping — it’s on my bucket list to visit soon!
Who is your biggest style icon?
I love Olivia Palermo’s style, she always looks perfect. However, with the rise of street style photography, there are so many women and men that are so inspirational! I love surfing the web and seeing how people dress around the world. I love when people are brave and aren’t afraid to have fun with their style.
What’s your personal stance on piercings and tattoos? Do you have any? Why or why not?
I am not against piercings or tattoos, its anyone’s right to do whatever they want with their own body. I don’t have any tattoos, but I might get something little one day. I like tiny, meaningful tattoos on women. Personally, I hate when men have sleeves or tattoos that cover over half of their body though.
If you were a flavor of ice cream, would you be?
Honestly, I don’t care much about sweets or ice cream. But I do like a frozen popsicle sometimes. So, probably a strawberry or kiwi popsicle. It’s definitely opposite of my personality though!
On a scale of prude to nudist beach enthusiast, where do you stand?
I am Russian and used to European beaches! I am all for keeping the bottoms on, but the top is optional. And I love Brazilian bikinis!
Favorite music festival memory?
I will never forget the first time I saw the ‘Man’ burn at Burning Man festival. I had so many mixed emotions inside of me. I wanted to scream and cry of happiness! I just felt so overwhelmed. After that, I decided Burning Man is my favorite holiday, screw birthdays!
