Kate Hudson Got Half of Hollywood to Dress Like Trashy Brides For Her Birthday

Kate Hudson may have just turned 37, but her last birthday party was literally a hot mess.

And by literally we mean Kate Hudson literally threw herself a hot mess-themed birthday party where she dressed like a coked out 80s bride who time-traveled to the present and got lost at an EDM rave, and she made all of her friends do the same.

For as lame as theme parties usually are, this one actually looked fun.

Happy Birthday @katehudson @derekblasberg @jenmeyerjewelry!!! Last night was FUN!! #AnnualHotMessParty #Trainwreck #WeddingEdition

Kate hosted the party on behalf of herself and fellow April babies Derek Blasberg, a fashion writer and editor, and Jennifer Meyer, jewelry designer and wife to Toby Maguire.

Their guests included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rachel Zoe, Poppy Delevingne, Demi Moore, Naomi Campbell, Lenny Kravitz, Derek Hough, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

Unfortunately no pictures of Naomi or Gwyneth looking like a hot mess have made it online, so the verdict’s out on whether or not either of them could actually bring themselves to look like the trashiest versions of themselves.

Although then again, according to Us Weekly, Gwyneth was getting lap dances from her boyfriend all night, so maybe the Goop princess got wild for the night after all.

Either way, the party looked way more lit than an adult birthday party should legally be allowed to be.

This marriage will never last.

Obviously, Kate didn’t get the memo that getting older means you have to stop drinking your alcohol out of red plastic SOLO cups.

May you never lose your cool, bb.
