7 Holiday Fast Food Items That Will Make Your Life

Holiday specials at your fave fast food spots are kind of like Pokemon – you’ve got to catch them all. And while some are widely known (Starbucks Gingerbread Latte, anyone?) others are more under-the-radar.

But instead of making you take a road trip to check every fast food spot for their holiday goodies, we’ve listed out our faves here.

1. Starbucks’ Spiced Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Starbucks decided to reward the iced-coffee devotees this winter and make a holiday drink that’s weirdly cold. Seems kind of counterintuitive, but if you’re the type of person who needs cold coffee even in a blizzard to cure your hangover, you’re sure to appreciate it.

2. Subway’s Apple Pie Cookie

Why does fall taste so sweet? Simple: our new, scrumptious Pumpkin Spice and Apple Pie cookies.

After you go for the “healthy” option by choosing Subway for lunch, reward yourself and get a cookie for dessert. Their Apple Pie cookie looks lit, and it’s only 75 cents!

3. Sonic’s Pecan Pie Funnel

This sounds like a heart attack, but like, in a good way? I mean, if my last bite on earth was a Pecan Pie Funnel, I’d be okay with it. Just look at that caramel.

4. Dairy Queen’s Candy Cane Blizzard

A candy cane blizzard sounds good. A candy cane blizzard with Oreos sounds even better. Sure, ice cream and cold weather might not always go hand in hand, but also, fuck it.

5. McDonald’s McCafe Peppermint Mocha

When you’re not drunk eating chicken nuggets at America’s favorite fast food chain, you can get into the holiday spirit with their Peppermint Mocha. Get your caffeine fix the way Santa would want you to. As an added bonus, this drink is actually now available all year.

6. IHOP’s Dark Chocolate Peppermint Pancakes

Take your midnight snacks to a new level with IHOP’s dark chocolate and peppermint pancakes. You’ll never actually be sick of pizza, but take a break just this once for the holiday season.

7. Dunkin’ Donuts Candy Cane Crunch Donut

Who needs fruit cake and Christmas cookies when you have donuts? We’ll take this candy cane donut over a plain old candy cane any day. And we’ll def pick up a caffeine fix while we’re at it.
