FEATURE INTERVIEW:

TALK TO US ABOUT YOUR STANCE ON BODY POSITIVITY.

For me, body positivity is all about choosing how I want to feel about myself. Sometimes people forget that body positivity isn’t about judging others for their choices, it’s about everyone’s right to feel good in their own unique way. It’s about the freedom to choose something that makes you feel confident and happy in your own skin.

Going through my weight loss and skin removal surgery really boosted my confidence. But at the end of the day, it’s how you feel about yourself that matters most. Whether it’s through self-love, hitting the gym, wearing whatever you want, or anything else, body positivity is about feeling beautiful and valued, no matter your path to get there.

HOW IS YOUR CREATIVITY DISRUPTING THE  CULTURE?

My creativity disrupts culture by challenging stereotypes and pushing back on narrow definitions of beauty. When I post videos of me working out, dancing, or just sitting down, I am showing the world that confidence and acceptance of who you are is not one size fits all. I know that my figure gets a lot of attention, and sometimes that attention isn’t always positive. People can be quick to judge or assume things about me based on my appearance, but I don’t let that stop me. I don’t represent just one side of what plus-size means—I represent the idea that you can have a different body type and still love your body no matter what shape or size.

Hate speech comes with the “job” and I receive a lot of it daily in my posts comments but I see it as an audience learning to accept diversity, I will continue to share my journey to make it clear that beauty doesn’t fit in a box—own who you are, love yourself hard and if that sparks conversations or inspire others to do the same, then I know I am making an impact.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR 18 YEAR OLD SELF?

Listen, I know you’re 18 and broke, struggling under the weight of 300 pounds, and feeling like the only way out is to become an engineer in a country where opportunities seem scarce. But here’s what I want you to know: Your worth is not measured by your bank account, your weight, or even the title you might one day earn.

It’s okay to struggle; it’s okay to feel lost. But don’t let the world convince you that you need to fit a certain mold to be valuable. Your uniqueness is your power, and every challenge you face now is shaping you into someone who will rise above the limitations others see. You’re capable of things you can’t even imagine yet—just keep going, and never stop fighting for the love and respect you deserve.

WHAT ADVICE HAS YOUR MOM GIVEN YOU THAT HAS HELPED YOU KEEP YOUR MENTAL HEALTH?

When I started out on social media, I was overwhelmed by the bullying, the harsh comments about my body, and the insecurities I’d carried for so long. I was close to giving up, but my mom, who had struggled with the same body image issues, said something that changed everything for me. She told me, “You’ve already started this, they’re watching you, so do it right. Show them you know what you’re doing.”

It wasn’t just about proving others wrong; it was about proving to myself that I had the strength to stand in my truth, no matter how many people tried to tear me down. Her words reminded me that I had the power to define how the world sees me, not the other way around. I embraced that strength, and it’s kept me going, even on the toughest days.

HOW DID YOU GET YOUR START IN SOCIAL MEDIA AND HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF EVOLVING?

I got my start in social media during the pandemic, a time when I was stuck at home, feeling terrible about my body and my self-worth. I was married then, and every day, my ex-husband would tell me how fat and unattractive I was. It wore me down, but instead of breaking, I decided to channel that pain into something empowering. I started posting pictures, not just to share my journey, but to inspire other women who might be feeling the same way.

As I continued, I noticed something unexpected—men also appreciated my confidence and body type. This was a shock to me because where I’m from, my body isn’t considered traditionally attractive. But through social media, I discovered that outside my country, people celebrated the very things I had been taught to hide.

I see myself evolving into the most recognized Panamanian woman in the world, someone who challenges outdated beauty standards and empowers others to love themselves as they are. I want to continue growing my platform, not just as an influencer, but as a global ambassador for body positivity, self-love, and confidence. My journey is just beginning, and I’m determined to make a lasting impact on how the world sees beauty.

YOUR BODY IS GORGEOUS AT EVERY SIZE, BUT FOR US GIRLS WHO ARE A BIT BIGGER, WHERE SHOULD WE SHOP TO GET YOUR LOOKS?

For us girls who are a bit bigger, I’m thrilled that more and more brands are embracing plus-size inclusivity. Growing up, I had to buy maternity clothes because regular sizes just didn’t fit me, so this change means a lot.

When I shop, I always look for clothes that are elastic—it’s the most important thing for me. They have to be sexy, super sexy. My favorites are FashionNova, DollsKill, JLorraine, Angel Brinks, and Pretty Little Thing. They have the best options that make you feel like a baddie, empowered, and like you can take on the world.

YOU TRAVEL QUITE OFTEN, WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE DESTINATION SO FAR?

As a content creator I always look for the best places to travel to and create viral videos. But a few months ago, I was invited to Peru for a TV program, and instead of just focusing on creating content, I decided to use the opportunity to give back. I brought food, water, and cleaning supplies to children in need, and that experience truly changed my life.

Seeing the smiles on those children’s faces and realizing the impact that a small gesture can make was humbling. It made me appreciate everything I have so much more. It reminded me that while sometimes we share what we own, the most powerful content comes from the heart, from making a real difference in someone’s life. That trip to Peru wasn’t just about a new destination—it was about gaining a new perspective and finding a deeper purpose in what I do. It’s an experience that will stay with me forever, and it has inspired me to continue using my platform to spread positivity and help others wherever I go.

DRAKE GAVE YOU A SHOUT-OUT, HOW DID THAT COME ABOUT?

We’ve been friends for a while now. Soy su amor, su amiga, and that shout-out definitely made me feel appreciated. It’s always nice to get that kind of love from someone you admire.

WHAT CRAZIEST DM YOU EVER GOTTEN?

I was in Rome, chilling in my Airbnb at 11pm when I decide to check my DMs. There’s this message from like three hours ago saying, “I’m down here.” I’m like, what? So, I look out the window, and no joke, there’s this dude just staring up at me. It’s super creepy, especially with it being so cold and late at night. Turns out he figured out where I was staying from my Instagram stories.

I hit him back real quick, apologizing for missing his message earlier but told him straight up it was too late and he needed to head home. Threw in a little peace offering, though, said I’d snap a pic with him next time I’m in Italy. Guy was thrilled I replied, thanked me, and took off. Never saw him again. Definitely one of those “only in social media” moments.

YOU ARE NOW MAKING MUSIC, WHO ARE YOUR MUSICAL INFLUENCES AND WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE ALBUM?

I’m super excited to start making more music. I want my songs to be for girls with curves, to be their anthem. I’ve released just one song so far and I’m still learning a lot. I’m getting inspiration from artists like Karol G, Young Miko, Bad Gyal, and Tokischa—they’re all amazing and real in their own way.

I’m working hard on creating more music, so the album will take some time, but it’s coming, and it’s going to be something special for all the curvy girls out there

WHO IS A DREAM MUSICAL COLLABORATION?

Cardi B is my dream musical collaboration, hands down. Her energy, her style, and how real she keeps it, it’s everything I admire. Collaborating with her would be a total dream come true.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOTY PHILOSOPHY  FOR PERFECT THE PERFECT PEACH FOR SUMMER?

My philosophy is flaunt what you got, just the way it is. Don’t skip out on the pool or beach because you’re worried about cellulite or how your booty looks. Honestly, no one’s going to remember exactly what your peach looks like. So, go out there and show it all off, be proud of what you’ve got.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON NEXT?

Right now, I’m all about making music. I’m putting everything into becoming a better artist and creating songs that speak to everyone, especially curvy women. I want my music to uplift and empower. Alongside that, I’m also designing a clothing line for girls with bodies like mine. I’m really excited to offer styles that are not just comfortable, but also make you feel incredible. It’s about giving everyone the chance to shine and feel confident in their own skin.
