Gigi Hadid has been known to try and make confusing clothing trends happen, but her latest foray into winter wear is low key disturbing.
Maybe you were too young to remember when it was cool to wear turtlenecks and crewneck sweaters at the same time, but it wasn’t even a good look on the nine-year-old boys we had crushes on at the time.
Now I know what you’re thinking.
What’s the big deal?
A sweater and a turtleneck? Is that even that abnormal?
And to you, I will say, yes, because unless you have supermodel good looks, it just kind of makes you look like a dweeb whose mother still has to help you get dressed in the morning.

At least the crewneck Gigi wore was a $1,400 one from Marc Jacobs, but for all of our future selfies, let’s hope this is one model off duty clothing trend that doesn’t catch on.
