Fall Fashion Edit: The best styles to keep you cozy
It’s the first week of October, your morning starts chilly, and the afternoon warms up. Transitional Wardrobe is now in full effect. Fall is here!
Finding cute Fall Fashion is probably the highlight of my year (really), from finding transitional pieces that you can wear both at your 9-5 job and or enjoying drinks with the girls at night, we’ve selected items that will keep you warm and chic. I love a good faux-leather moment, seen at Proenza Schouler for their autumn/winter collection, the trend is timeless and can be worn a dozen ways. For a look you can dress up or down, a tailored suit is timeless and classic – worn with sneakers or heels, you can make it your own. Fall is all about statement jewelry, it’s cold so you don’t want to wear obsessive jewelry that will feel cold against your skin, tie a look together with one necklace as opposed to layering your jewelry. A shopping tip I always share is: Invest in your Jackets! You can wear them anywhere and anyway Ex: A faux leather jacket can be worn with sweats, denim, or over a dress. We are obsessed with good boots, whatever the season, style, or occasion, boots are an all-year-round staple and can easily level your look up or make a basic fit not-so-basic. Textures are essential when selecting your boot, it can’t clash with your coat (a snakeskin boot paired with a snakeskin trench is a lot……right?) to bypass that, opt for baggy denim jeans with knee-high boots in whatever texture you like, the contrast is what’s essential when styling.
Tailored Suiting
Styling tip: Opt for open-toe heels or sneakers. Try layering this top with either a button-down shirt or tee. Tailored clothing not only makes you look like a boss but it also can make you feel empowered.
