Don’t Worry Ladies, Olympic Runners Forget Their Hair Ties Too
Sometimes you just need to get your hair out of your face… ASAP. And women usually wear an elastic around our wrists in case of emergency. But sometimes our go-to hair tie breaks… or gets lost. RIP.
Olympic track-and-field athlete Emma Coburn feels our pain though. In fact, moments before Emma had to compete in the final steeplechase event, she realized she didn’t have a hair tie. Super relatable, right?
Apparently, Emma didn’t freak out and instead walked around the warm-up area in search of someone to lend her one. I guess Olympic athletes are problem solvers. Well, not Ryan Lochte, but whatever.
Anyway, Evan Jager (king of the man-bun) lent her an extra he had on his wrist. And here’s what Emma has to say about it:
Before warming up for my final I couldn’t find a hair tie. Luckily, @EvanJager was there and came through with one for me. #truestory
