Oh Great, Demi Lovato Might Be Dating John Mayer
The good news?
Demi Lovato is moving on from her ex-boyfriend and noted fuckboy Wilmer Valderrama.
The bad news?
She may be moving on with noted fuckboy John Mayer.
Demi and John were spotted hanging out at Catch LA this Saturday by multiple sources who couldn’t wait to call up Us Weekly.
“John had his arm around Demi and was whispering sweet nothings into her ear,” confirmed a source. “She was into it. They weren’t making out or anything, but she was giggling the whole time.” Steamy.
A second insider added that the two, “chatted it up for over an hour.” While all of this seems like it could be vaguely platonic (clubs are loud, sometimes friends talk for hours), can you imagine the mayhem a romance between Demi and John would create?

Then again, given Demi and John’s past, they’re probably just friends.
In 2009, John Mayer tweeted to Demi Lovato, “I have ‘La La Lang’ by @ddlovato stuck in my head. Actually, it’s not stuck. I’m choosing to sing it. B Section is sophisticated.”
Demi replied, “That is quite possibly the best compliment I’ve received in this business. Thank you so, so much!”
The conversation kept going and Mayer mansplained to the already-successful musician, “You’re going to make lots of records, I can tell. Write one song at a time and never, every apologize for any of them, ever.”
Later on that day Demi went so far as to tell her fans on Twitter that Mayer was an “inspiration” and “idol.”
Although now that we think about it, buttering up a young musician that idolizes him so he could eventually fuck her sounds exactly like something John Mayer would do.
Guess we’ll just have to see how things one plays out.
