DAISY MARQUEZ IS READY TO SHARE THE MOST INTIMATE DETAILS OF HER LIFE WITH THE WORLD

Hailing from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Daisy Marquez has garnered an incredible amount of followers across all her social media platforms. The popularity of her video “Story Time: I’m Undocumented” catapulted her into the spotlight, as it accumulated over 1.5 million views. In this powerful piece, she opened up about her life-changing journey of crossing the US/Mexico border. Daisy has seen much success in the course of her career, from being part of several beauty campaigns and in several WW stores. In addition to this, Daisy has had the opportunity to work with several brands such as Morphe, True Religion, Savage X Fenty, Milani Cosmetics, BH Cosmetics, and many more!

Now she has joined us to give us all the juicy details about her latest endeavor, her new podcast “Daisy Diaries” where she shares the most personal bits of her life with the audience. Besides her podcast, she is also working hard to propel the Daisy DACA Foundation which aims to provide financial and educational support to young immigrants. Being DACA herself, the making of this foundation is especially important for her.

What inspired the creation of the “Daisy Diaries” podcast, and what can listeners expect from it?

The inspiration behind “Daisy Diaries” actually came from my second Instagram account “Deisy Diaries.” I have a close relationship with all of my followers. I love how intimate it feels and the conversations I have with them. I then got the idea to extend those conversations and start my own podcast. I solely created Daisy Diaries so there could be a platform where my guests and I can feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable and fill an episode with whatever they like.

Could you provide additional insight into the mission of the Daisy DACA Foundation and its efforts to empower DACA recipients?

The main mission behind the Daisy DACA Foundation is to offer financial support to as many DACA recipients aka “dreamers”. Each month, we select applicants who apply to the foundation to receive financial support. Whether it’s covering their renewal fees or helping cover the cost of lawyers when they’re applying for Advanced Parole, I started this foundation because I felt it was important to give back to my community.

How has your personal journey shaped your commitment to the Daisy DACA Foundation, and what positive changes do you aim to bring about?

I crossed the border at a young age. My entire experience defined the type of woman I wanted to be for myself and my community. I knew at some point in my life that I wanted to give back to my community. That’s what inspired the start of the foundation.

What do your partnerships with well-known brands reveal about your personal brand and the values you embody as an influencer?

All the amazing brands that I have had the pleasure of working with have these incredible values. They stand with being accepted, being true to yourself, and embracing your unique beauty. All of these incredible attributes are things that I aim to embrace and live by in my own life and through my career as an influencer.

As you embark on new projects, how do you envision the evolution of your role as an influencer, and what impact do you hope to make through these endeavors?

Now that I’ve been a beauty influencer for most of my career, I want to do more with my platform. Launching my foundation was just the beginning of something bigger. The other projects that I’m planning to create will reflect my passion for giving back to all communities.

What are the key topics and themes you plan to explore in your podcast, and how do they relate to your experiences as an influencer and content creator?

The themes of my podcast range from past, present, and future experiences that either myself and/or the guest is going through in life. Each episode is going to tell a different story.

How do you see your role as an influencer impacting the beauty industry, and what changes or improvements would you like to see?

I hope that launching my foundation as a beauty influencer can show other creators that they can do so much more with their platform. We don’t have to stick with one niche and it’s okay to step out of your comfort zone, especially if it means doing something that benefits others.

What are your future goals and aspirations, both in terms of your career as an influencer and your impact on social issues that are important to you?

My goal as an influencer and entrepreneur is to use my platform to share my life and to spread positivity through my foundation and other organizations I aim to create in the future.
