The Newest CoverGirl Is Muslim Beauty Blogger Nura Afia
CoverGirl really has been killing the game lately.
And no, I’m not talking about their amazingly affordable makeup products, I’m talking about their latest CoverGirls — and Boys.
Her name is Nura Afia, and she’s kind of a big deal.
Nura had already been making waves — she has 304,000 followers on Instagram and over 200,000 followers on YouTube. We imagine that this CoverGirl deal will only bring her more success.
Her appointment as ambassador is to promote the same mascara that James Charles will be promoting, which is their new line of So Lashy mascaras. The shirts for the campaign read “Lash Equality,” so it’s clear that diversity was a big factor in who they chose as their brand ambassadors for the project.
