Varley is the celeb-loved workout brand you can rock to the airport or pilates

I am very serious about my leggings and their comfort level. Feeling good in my workout clothes is essential to even think about having a productive workout. If I’m uncomfortable, I won’t do my best. For those of you who are active most days of the week, I know you feel the same way. Yoga is not fun when your leggings are riding up your crotch or you’re constantly itchy due to shitty fabric.

That’s why when I found Varley, I became a Varley stan, and I haven’t looked back. Varley’s website says that the brands’ mission is to be “a performance-first lifestyle brand committed to creating technically innovative, fashion forward apparel and game-changing skincare for the modern woman,” and it lives up to it. Their material is sourced from Italy, and it’s so soft that you’ll forget you’re on your way to a 45-minute spin class. Even when I don’t want to work out, Varley clothing somehow makes me more motivated to head to the gym.

Worn by the likes of Shay Mitchell, Joan Smalls, and Alessandra Ambrosio, Varley’s workout clothes are not only celeb approved, but also functional. I even wear my Varley sports bra to the airport, because it’s just comfier than any bra or bandeau I have. The clothing is movement focused, and it’s extremely breathable. When I am dripping sweat, the clothing doesn’t absorb it and make the material heavy like most other brands I own. Basically, I don’t feel drenched even when I probably should. Plus, their newest line coming out the end of this month includes next level leggings with a pocket for your iPhone, keys, or wallet (which I know I have been needing desperately).

Aside from practicality, Varley just has timeless designs. They are on trend, but can last you a lifetime, due to natural color schemes and chic prints.  People constantly ask me where I’ve gotten my matching workout outfits, and the answer is almost always Varley. The brand isn’t afraid to draw outside the lines with a snakeskin fit, but can also keep it simple with an all-black one. These prints are gorgeous and eye-catching, making the brand wearable anytime and anywhere. Yes, I have worn their leggings to a bar. The silhouettes are pretty sexy for being atheisure, and some of their sports bras are boobalicious.

I was lucky enough to be able to get some information from Varley’s founder, Lara Mead, about their newest collection.

What is different about the upcoming collection?

This collection, to me, is the most beautiful to date. It features more styles suitable for yoga, Pilates, and barre in beautiful, soft, buttery fabrics.

Are there any materials/colors that you decided to do for this collection that you personally love?

I personal love the taupe theme paired with the white ottoman sweaters. Such a fresh, minimal, expensive look.

Why is Varley one of the most sought-after lines, with so many fans and celebrities who die for it?

I think we have the perfect balance between performance and style. We have an understanding of the modern women and their busy lives. We don’t skimp on our quality and fabrics, and we offer high functioning pieces in super stylish prints with on-trend color ways.

Varley’s third collection dropped yesterday, so make sure to follow them and check out their newest designs! I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the collection beforehand, and I’ve picked out some of my favorites for you below and throughout this article. I wouldn’t be surprised if you started rocking their leggings to the bar, too.
