Caitlyn Jenner Took Up Donald’s Offer to Use the Trump Tower Ladies’ Room
We are one step closer to the Caitlyn Jenner-Donald Trump endorsement/joint reality show of our dreams, you guys.
At the Time 100 Gala last night, Caitlyn announced not only that she’s stoked about Donald Trump’s recent comments bashing North Carolina’s trans-phobic bathroom bill, but also that she’s used the facilities at Trump Tower.
Outspoken Republican Caitlyn made this announcement while toasting Trump:
“This toast, actually started, in a bathroom. Actually, bathroom issues right now in my life seem to be in the forefront. Actually, on that issue I just want to say also – One little trans woman walking down the street had to go, I looked up and who did I see but the Trump Tower. Last week Donald Trump said I could use any bathroom I wanted in the Trump Tower. So of course I veered right in there – took care of myself … I obeyed all the rules, I promise you, I didn’t throw any feminine products down the toilet. And it actually worked out quite well. It was very good.”
This comes a week after Trump shocked the world by coming out in support of trans folks‘ bathroom rights, and also said he’d love to have Caitlyn test out the ladies’ at Trump Tower.
But don’t get too excited — not every trans person is Caitlyn Jenner. Also making the rounds online is a video showing a shopper being forced out of a bathroom by police for not having ID to prove her gender.
The bathroom battle clearly isn’t over yet, but at least celebrities with millions of followers are talking about it. Maybe Trump can invite the anonymous woman in that viral video to his Tower next?
