Britney Spears Didn’t Shade T Swift, She Just Forgot She Met Her Twice
There’s a nasty rumor going around this morning that over the weekend, Britney Spears totally shaded Taylor Swift.
But we’re here to tell you guys that that ABSOLUTELY didn’t happen.
Britney didn’t shade Taylor, Taylor was apparently just so forgettable that Britney forgot they ever met… twice.
Wait, on second thought, maybe Brit Brit did throw a little shade.
On Sunday morning, Britney Spears appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, which is an Australian thing so don’t worry that you’ve never heard of it before.
In fact, we wouldn’t even be talking about the show right now had they not asked Britney Spears the following question: who would you rather sit next to on a 24-hour flight to Sydney, Taylor Swift or Katy Perry?
“I don’t know! I don’t know, that’s hard. They’re both so cool, I don’t know,” Britney Spears exclaimed.,”I’ve briefly met Katy Perry at the Smurfs movie premiere. Maybe because I’ve met Katy Perry I would say Taylor Swift because I’ve never met her before. “
Only they have met.
Twice.
Once in 2008 at the VMAs.
And once in 2003 when they both had horrible style.

To be honest, we get how Britney could choose to forget about that meeting. If we were Britney, we would too. That hat and smooshed bra cami outfit is NOT a good look.
So, basically, one of two things is going on:
Either Britney forgot about meeting Taylor twice because Taylor is forgettable or Britney thinks Katy Perry is a bitch and just tried to think of the nicest possible way to say it.
Silly Brit Brit, you can’t pull a fast one on us.
We still love you though.
Even if you are team Taylor.
