Beyoncé’s Formation Tour Will Be ‘Aggressively Political,’ Source Says
Beyoncé is apparently only going to turn up the political awareness for her next tour, and we couldn’t be more stoked.
A Twitter account called @TheBeyhiveTeam has just spilled new deets on the “Formation” world tour, saying it’s going to be “aggressively political and controversial.” This account has been known to break Bey news in the past, according to Perez Hilton, so this likely isn’t just hearsay.
It makes sense since Beyoncé’s been amping up the controversy in her music since dropping “Formation” just before the Super Bowl. After she performed it at halftime, conservatives were a nervous wreck, saying it was reverse racist (not a thing) and disrespectful to police. So it looks like we’ll have even more controversy — and thought-provoking performances — to look forward to once the tour starts.
Here are all the tweets from @TheBeyhiveTeam.
EXCLUSIVE: You know we have to join in on the fun. The Formation World Tour will be aggressively political & controversial! 🐝

Can’t wait for this tour. In the meantime, let’s re-watch “Formation” because it’s Friday and this song never gets old.
