Ayanna J. is basically our Instagram idol when it comes to over-the-top beauty looks. So of course we had to ask her for the step-by-step on her five favorite Halloween looks. Here are her tips. Don’t forget to follow her here.
1. Sasha Bratz doll
I was inspired to do one of Sasha’s iconic looks cause she was my favorite out of all the girls and people always say I look like a Bratz Doll.

Lips: Wet n Wild liquid catsuit in the shade Rebel Rose
Maybelline vivid matte liquid in the shade Coffee Buzz
Brows: I glued the ends of my brows and used Airspun translucent powder to set them and used a dark brown eyeshadow to fill them in.
Brows: Just use your favorite black eyeshadow!
2. It clown
I was inspired to do this look ’cause I’ve just seen it around and I always wanna show my followers how these looks would look on someone with my skin tone.
Eyebrows: black eyeshadow. I use LA Colors liquid makeup in the number CLM285
Face: Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation in the shade 362
Airspun translucent powder to bake and set
Nicka K contour duo in the number NDO09 and Fenty Beauty highlighter in Hu$tla Baby.
To bronze, I used the brown shade in the Juvia’s place Zulu.
Eyes: same as the bronzer — Juvia’s place Zulu. Also Sephora pro editorial, NYX white base, and Wet n Wild H2O liner in black, and Nicka K multi-function mascara.
For the inner eye highlight, I used Fenty Beauty Mean Money.
My lashes are Eylure Vegas Nay glamour lashes.
For the lips: Wet n Wild liquid catsuit in the shade Video Vixen. And I used this for the lines and used J Cat Rockin the Night red glitter
And the brows are just black eyeshadow.
3. Blaque-inspired
I was inspired by this black girl group called Blaque. I grew up listening to their music and I just love their styles so I wanted to pay my respect for one of my favorite girl groups.
Face: LA Girl foundation in the shade coffee, Nicka K contour duo in the number NDO09, LA Girl liquid makeup in the shade tan, airspun translucent powder and Fenty Beauty Hu$tla Baby highlighter.
Eyes: NYX white primer base, Morphe 35o, Okalan’s Lime Crime Venus 2 dupe, Kiss NY Pro single eyeshadow in the shade cornflower bleuet, Mehron glitter in clear, Wet n Wild h2o liner, and Eyelure Vegas nay lashes in glamour.
Lips: Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid in the shade coffee buzz and NYX intense butter gloss in the shade cookie butter.
Brows: black eyeshadow!
4. Sultry bunny
I wanted to do this kinda sexy bunny because it’s simple yet really fun. And who wouldn’t want to be a bunny?
Face: LA Girl foundation in the shade coffee, LA Colors liquid makeup in the shade tan, Airspun translucent powder to set, and Nicka K contour duo in the number NDO09, Soap & Glory in peach party, and LA Femme blush in the shade orange.
Eyes: NYX white base, Okalan Lime Crime Venus 1 dupe, Morphe 35o, Soap & Glory peach party, Wet n Wild H2O liquid liner, and Vegas Nay lashes in bronze beauty.
Brows: Wet n Wild catsuit liquid lip in the shade video vixen.
Lips: Wet n Wild Mega Last liquid catsuit in the shade video vixen and Maybelline vivid matte liquid in the shade red punch.
Bonus: Rihanna Sledgehammer-inspired
I was inspired last minute and I just had to do this one!
Brows: glued up (6x) and put Airspun translucent powder to set.
