An ode to the haters.

AVAVAV listened to the backlash the brand received from its spring 24 Collection – most calling the collection “Trash” – and took the term literally, using trash as the centerpiece of its FW 24 showing in Milan. The brand’s creative director, Beate Karlsson, chose the negative words directly from the brand’s social media as the inspiration behind her F/W 24 collections, as seen on the drop screen behind the runway show. Fashion can have its dramatic moments; ultimately, it’s all art. See images from Avavav’s latest collection below.

I loved seeing what came down the runway. Midi dresses for an evening out with sexy splits in the legs and crop tops with micro cutouts were some of the show’s highlights.
