Amber Heard Just Accused Johnny Depp of Domestic Violence
It’s been two days since the news broke that Amber Heard was filing for divorce from Johnny Depp, and now we’ve found out that she’s reportedly seeking a domestic violence restraining order from her soon-to-be-ex-husband.
Of course TMZ, who also broke the news of Heard and Depp’s divorce in the first place, is the news outlet responsible for this story, and if the circumstances behind these recent developments turn out to be true, they paint an incredibly ugly picture.
Allegedly, when Amber Heard and her lawyer, Samantha Spector, showed up to court on Monday morning to file for divorce, they came armed with photos of the various bruises that they claim Depp had inflicted Amber with throughout their relationship.
Including one bruise they didn’t need documentation for, because the proof of it was still on Heard’s face, around her eye.
Heard claims the bruise came from an altercation with Depp that occurred on Saturday night, when he smashed his iPhone on her face after shattering various objects around her apartment.
At the time, Heard was on the phone with her friend, and as soon she realized what was going on, she screamed for her friend to call the cops, she claims, and by the time the cops showed up, Depp had already fled the scene.
Although TMZ was told the cops informed Amber that they would be willing to find and arrest Depp if she would just give them a statement about the alleged violence, she refused.
Instead, she filed for divorce as soon as the courts opened on Monday.
Meanwhile, Depp has been out of town since Wednesday promoting his family-friendly movie Alice in Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass.
We’re guessing Disney’s gonna love this one.
