Drucker Drops “I’ll Never Know” Ahead of Fall Tour

Serving as the first glimpse into Drucker’s forthcoming second EP, “I’ll Never Know,” his latest release opens quietly with sweet acoustic guitar chords as Drucker’s vocals sit front and center, moving delicately between softness and emotion.

The rhythm blends traditional post-folk sounds with subtle country nuances, underscored by the distant echo of lap steel and spacious production. While the verses remain intimate, the chorus presents a more energetic take that contrasts sharply with the rest of the song. Lyrically, Drucker draws on the emotional honesty of influences like Sam Fender and Jeff Buckley. The song explores the vulnerability of trying to reconnect with someone without knowing whether those feelings will be returned, capturing the quiet perseverance of choosing to move forward regardless.

The accompanying music video visually mirrors this theme of emotional unpredictability. Throughout the visual, Drucker moves through meaningful locations as daylight and nighttime seamlessly intertwine around him. This constant shift between light and dark reflects the fluid journey of life, highlighting the places we visit, the people we cross paths with, and the underlying uncertainty of where we will land. It serves as a visual representation of how even our best-planned paths can yield sudden twists, bringing us down or carrying us to unexpected higher highs.

To support the release, Drucker is taking his music on the road. Following a show at Toronto’s Burdock Music Hall, he is set to embark on a Canadian tour throughout late November with stops in St. Catharines (Nov 24), Hamilton (Nov 25), Guelph (Nov 26), Ottawa (Nov 27), and Montreal (Nov 28). He is also preparing to expand his live footprint across the Atlantic with an upcoming run of UK dates.

Hailing from Montreal, Drucker has built a distinct sound centered around urban romanticism, character-driven storytelling, and bright post-folk melodies. This release follows his May EP, “See Myself Out,” which earned him widespread editorial support from Spotify, SiriusXM’s North Americana, and The Verge, alongside coverage from several outlets. With a growing audience exceeding 80,000 monthly listeners and past tour support for Dom Louis, Drucker continues to establish himself as a compelling voice in the modern music landscape.
