Mike Infante: The Next Big Thing in Entertainment
Miguel Angelo Infante, known as Mike Infante, is a Mexican American actor from Sacramento who is taking Hollywood by storm. Predicted to be one of the hottest rising actors on the scene in 2025, the 23-year-old has numerous professional projects on the docket for this year, even though he has yet to graduate from college. Ever since he was eleven, Mike has loved performing in theatrical productions, and now, as he studies at Sacramento State with a major in Communications and a minor in Theatre, he is graduating to the big leagues, and Tinsel Town is taking notice.
Mike’s Story
For his whole life, Mike has been living with Cerebral Palsy. Despite this, Mike has refused to allow his life to be defined by his illness and instead views his success as a showcase for defying the odds, both onscreen and off. He believes that with perseverance, anything is possible. This optimistic mentality and his acclaimed performances on the stage and screen have helped him to cultivate a substantial following on his social media platforms, which he uses to advocate for positivity and for people with disabilities in the entertainment industry.
As Mike writes, “I have a disability, and it’s not very common to see a person with an actual disability. Playing characters with disabilities. My hope is that changes in representation are not only for the disability community but just the fact that we can break the stigma on the screen to show that people with disabilities are much more.”
Upcoming Film Projects
Mike appears alongside Lucas Jade Zumann, Isabella Ferreira, William Baldwin, Beverly D’Angelo, Xander Berkeley, and Ashanti in Julia Verdin’s film No Address. The brand-exclusive film, which will be released nationwide in theaters on February 28th, is distributed by Fathom Entertainment.
Furthermore, Mike is also appearing in Freaky Tales, an anthology film directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, which first premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Now, After a year-long wait, the film is finally set to release theatrically. Infante‘s role in the film remains a mystery, but it is known that he is appearing alongside some of the industry’s top stars, such as Pedro Pascal, Jack Champion, Angus Cloud, Normani, Dominique Throne, Ben Mendelsohn, Keir Gilchrist and many more.
Freaky Tales recently released a trailer featuring quotes from critics hailing the film as “a total blast from start to finish,” “packing a punch,” and “delivering a wild mixed-up anthology.” The movie is being distributed by Lionsgate and will be released in theaters on April 4, 2025.
A Return to the Stage
Infante is also returning to the stage, reportedly via his Instagram, for his college’s Sacramento State Theatre production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog in the Night-Time, where he will play Ed.
