Good news! You don’t have to worry about where to find American Apparel-like clothing now that American Apparel got cancelled, because American Apparel is officially coming back!
Or at least it’s getting a new website for you to buy stuff on.
And here’s some even better news: Gildan Activewear, the company that bought American Apparel, told Business of Fashion the new site would be launching in the next two weeks!
Just in time for back to school shopping!
While they didn’t say exactly what styles of clothing American Apparel 2.0 would be selling, Gildan’s CEO said they were going to be selling jeans and a “wide range” of American Apparel’s “historic offering.”
Hopefully the thotty leotards, bodycon dresses and disco pants we all grew up on make the cut, but hey, American Apparel beggars can’t be choosers.
