Replace Your Pricey Designer Perfume With These Oils
Recently, I began a deeply profound relationship with tea tree oil. This week, I realized I am not a one oil type of gal.
There are actually a bunch of amazing fragrance oils by Kuumba Made that smell just as good as, if not better than, designer perfumes. Perfumes are mostly alcohol mixed with fragrance oils to begin with, which makes them more flammable and last a shorter amount of time.
If you’re not overly attached to a pretty bottle and brand, try some of these amazing fragrance oils that are comparable to perfumes by brands such as Coach, Dior, and Balmain.
1. Water Lily Fragrance Oil
I bought this for $12 in a Whole Foods, just one aisle down from the dried mango strips. It’s almost identical to the fragrance Poppy by Coach, which sells for about $90 for 3.4oz. It’s very light but lasts so long and a little goes a long way.
2. Persian Garden Fragrance Oil
After falling in love with Water Lily, I went back for this one. A lot of people compare it to Gypsy Water by Byredo, which sells for about $150 at Neiman Marcus. It also shares some notes with Balmain Ambre Gris.
3. Amber and Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
This one is super woodsy. It is comparable to Sexy Amber by Michael Kors, which is also built with amber and sandalwood notes. The Kuumba Made version has an added citrus note, however.

4. White Ginger Fragrance Oil
White Ginger smells sweet, spicy and floral. This smells almost exactly like White Shoulders by Elizabeth Arden or Climat by Lancome.
5. Lily Of The Valley Fragrance Oil
Smells exactly like the flower, Lily of the Valley. Diorissimo by Dior is another Lily of the Valley fragrance that is extremely close to the actual flower, but that one retails at over $100.
