Even though friendship isn’t a competition, I find it hard to believe that there hasn’t been some kind of tug-of-war going on between Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner over Gigi Hadid this year.
It’s no secret that Taylor and Kendall wouldn’t shed a tear if the other person fell down a well and disappeared forever, which must make things pretty awkward for Gigi, who just so happens to be best friends with both of them.
Now I know, I know, friendship isn’t a competition, but just like we can only have one maid of honor in life — unless you keep getting remarried, in which case the sky’s the limit bb — we always have one best friend that we like the most.
So who did Gigi like best this year?
Since I can’t call her up and ask her myself — would you believe she has an unlisted number — I did the next best thing: I counted how many photos Gigi had taken with Taylor and Kendall on Instagram.
It was close, but in the end, KenGi proved the more dominant friendship.
Granted, most of the Kendall ones happened before their friendship was rumored to be on the rocks, but let’s just say there’s only one of those two ladies that Gigi’s ever called her main. Multiple times.
Sorry Taylor.
You’ll never pull Gigi away from Kendall.
