Victoria Beckham Didn’t Actually Sing at Spice Girls Concerts and Look at Her Now
Victoria Beckham has said she’ll never reunite with the Spice Girls again, and it probably has something to do with the fact that her mic always got turned off when it was performance time.
Sorry to have to be the one to break it to you, but every Spice Girls performance you ever saw has been a lie.
“They used to turn it off and just let the others sing,” Victoria told The Telegraph, adding, “I got the last laugh — and now my mic is well and truly on, finally.”
Besides, Victoria got what she really wanted out of the Spice Girls anyway: a chance to wear really cute clothes.
“I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.”
Talk about being a boss.
Since 2000 when the Spice Girls officially disbanded Victoria has started her own super successful fashion brand, married a super hot guy who was so good at soccer they named a movie after him, written two best-selling books, raised four beautiful children, and has done it all while looking fabulous.
Of course we can’t really forget that her post-Spice Girls era started with a solo career that couldn’t exactly be considered successful, but hey, who hasn’t taken a misstep or two on the way to living the dream?
