We did the leg work for you and put together your Bad Bitch Guide to Tokyo: a comprehensive cheat sheet from photographer Maya Kibbel to get you to the dopest places in the city and what makes them so cool.
1. Shibuya Scramble
Literally proven to be the busiest crosswalk in the world. (NO JOKE, IT’S LIKE A BATTLE TO CROSS THE STREET)
2. Nonbeiyoko-cho

3. Nude Trump
THE BEST vintage shop in Tokyo, it has literally EVERYTHING!
4. Cat Street/Omotesando
Cat St. connects Shibuya, Omotesando and Harajuku quickly. When we shot, Omotesando looked like a road of dead trees but in other season its luscious. Omotesando is the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo.
5. Ura-Hara (meaning behind Harajuku)
This place has more clothes, shoes, etc. you’d ever think you’d need. It’s a chill zone. Good for grazing/shopping.
6. Takeshita Street
The famous “Takeshita Street” – Get Tokyo souvenirs, varieties of food and of course Tokyo style clothes. Even Lolita looks. Crowded, but always worth it.
7. Togo Shrine
A somewhat hidden shrine but very therapeutic, especially for times you can’t make it into Meiji Jingu.
8. Yoyogi Park
When the cherry blossoms bloom, everyone is there, drinking, eating and merrily looking at the beautiful tress of pink.
